This pizza sauce is tastier and healthier compared to canned ones!
Easily available ingredients, cook them and blend, your sauce is ready!!
Ingredients:
- 3 Tomatoes
- 1 Onion
- 2 cloves Garlic
- 1 tsp Salt
- 2 tsp Kashmiri Chilli Powder (substitute with black pepper)
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp oregano
- 2 tbsp Tomato Ketchup
- 3 tbsp Oil
Instructions:
- Into a sauce pan Heat oil and sauté onion until translucent.
- Add garlic, tomatoes and mix. Add salt, chili powder, dry herbs and mix.
- Cover and cook for 3-5 minutes until tomatoes are mushy.
- Add ketchup, give it a mix and switch off stove.
- Cool the mixture for 10 minutes to blend.
- Transfer it to a blender and grind roughly. Do not make it a fine paste.
- Transfer paste to a container and use immediately or refrigerate until use for up to a week.
