One-Pot Chicken Pasta

Hello!

One-Pot chicken pasta is bursting with flavours! It is creamy, spicy and cheesy!! You'll love it just like I do!

Let's get to the recipe:

Ingredients

  • 3 cups pasta (any shells will do)
  • 250g Chicken ( boneless, bite-size pieces)
  • 1 cup Onion (diced)
  • 1 cup capsicum (diced)
  • 1 cup Mushroom (cut to small pieces)
  • 1/2 cup carrot (diced)
  • 1 tsp black pepper powder
  • 2 tsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 tsp red chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric powder
  • Salt
  • 3 cups water
  • 1 cup milk 
  • 3-4 tbsp oil 
  • 1 cup mozzarella cheese (shredded)
  • Few coriander leaves for garnish

How to make:

  • Heat oil, Add chicken, pinch of salt, black pepper, 1 tsp Italian seasoning and fry until chicken is almost cooked.
  • Now, add onion, capsicum, carrot, mushrooms and mix. 
  • Add chili powder, turmeric powder, cumin powder, 1 tsp salt and cook for a minute.
  • Then, add water, milk and cover the pan with a lid.
  • Once the liquid is hot, add pasta, stir well and cook covered, stirring occasionally.
  • Once pasta is cooked, reduce flame, spread mozzarella on top, garnish with remaining Italian seasoning, coriander leaves and cover until cheese melts.
  • Or you can place the pan(without lid) in the oven at 120° c until cheese melts.
