Chilli Chicken

Chilli Chicken, dry



This is one of my favorite side dish for paratha. It's easy, delicious and can also be used as stuffing for rolls, sandwiches or as pizza topping.


Ingredients:
  • 500g Chicken (pre-cooked and shredded)
  • 2-3 tbsp Tomato Sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Red Chilli Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Turmeric Powder
  • A pinch of Red Food Colour (optional)
  • 2 Medium Onion (thinly sliced)
  • 1 Hand Full Curry Leaves
  • 1-2 Green Chilli
  • 1 tbsp Ginger and garlic (crushed or finely chopped)
  • 1/2 cup Green Capsicum
  • 2 Tbsp Oil
  • Salt( 1 tsp and a pinch)


How to make:
In a bowl mix chicken, chilli powder, turmeric, 1 tsp salt, tomato sauce, red food colour and keep it aside.
Into a pan add oil and let it heat. Add chilli, ginger and garlic, sauté.
Add Onions and a pinch of salt(helps onion to cook faster) and sauté until onion turns translucent.
Add the chicken mixture, capsicum and cook for 3-5 minutes.
Chilli Chicken restaurent style is ready.
