February is officially red velvet month! So, why not indulge your loved ones with this chocolate goodness? It's so simple yet tastes divine!
*You can substitute chocolate powder with Milo or any hot chocolate powder.
*Add more chocolate for darker color.
Ingredients:
- 1 cup full cream milk
- 1 tbsp sugar
- 2 tbsp powdered chocolate (more if you want)
- 2 tbsp freshly brewed coffee (filter coffee)
- 2 tbsp fresh beet juice (grind one small piece beetroot with few drops of water and strain juice)
- 1/2 tsp vanilla extract (or essence)
*You can substitute chocolate powder with Milo or any hot chocolate powder.
*Add more chocolate for darker color.
Instructions:
- In a sauce pan boil milk with sugar.
- Meanwhile, in a mug add remaining ingredients and mix well.
- Once milk is boiled, pour it on the mug, mix and serve hot as it is or top it with cream or whipped cream.
